Mary was born in Eidsvold and grew up west of Rockhampton on an Aboriginal Settlement called Wooribinda. Mary was always around horses when she was younger and still loves them today - evidence of this is her attendance at the races in town nearly every Saturday and her frequent trips to Caloundra on a Sunday.
Mary started working with Les over 5 years ago, when the Ross family moved to Brisbane, and she looks after all the book-work. Mary has also been an owner, her favourite horse being Brave Crusader who managed to beat a battler names Starcraft by 4.5 lengths in a winning a Maiden.
Now you can all put a face to the name, make sure you say hi to mary when you see her at the track.
